Hello! My name is Scott Amiss (pronounced AIM’iss). I have practiced Massage Therapy in Los Angeles for more than a decade, focusing on Sports, Deep Tissue and Swedish massage. Since each session is tailored to meet your individual needs, applied pressure may be light to intense, focus on “hot spots,” or encompass the entire body. The appropriate course of action will be determined by your indications and my assessment.

My clientele consists of many endurance athletes (Cyclists, Triathletes, Ultrarunners) including members of LATriClub, The SoCal Coyotes, UCLA Triathlon, and UCLA Cycling. There are also M.D.’s, Physical Therapists, and Chiropractors among my regular patrons. It’s a great compliment to be entrusted with the care of medical professionals as well as elite athletes!

In the fall of 2014, I completed a Baccalaureate in Exercise Science at California State University, Northridge. I am currently enrolled at CSUN as a Masters candidate in Exercise Physiology. As a graduate teaching assistant, I provide instruction in labs for Exercise Physiology I and II, as well as supplemental instruction for students enrolled in Exercise Physiology I. My expanding base of knowledge allows me to continually improve the care I provide for my massage clients, by better understanding the stresses placed upon their bodies.

Thank you for visiting my site, and please contact me with any questions you may have.
